Eye
Say goodbye to dark circles under your eyes and achieve bright, vibrant eyes.
What is under-eye fat repositioning?
A customized procedure that corrects both bulging and hollowing under the eyes at the same time—restoring a youthful, bright, and refreshed look.
When under-eye fat protrudes, it accentuates dark circles and creates a tired or aged appearance.
At DU Plastic Surgery, under-eye fat repositioning is not simply the removal of excess fat.
Instead, it is a structural approach that repositions the existing fat to fill hollows while reducing any excess, improving both puffiness and indentation simultaneously.
After a precise diagnosis of each patient’s anatomy and skin condition, the fat is redistributed to the areas where volume is needed, or delicately reduced where necessary.<br> This creates a smooth, even, and naturally contoured appearance around the entire lower-eye area.
Using a medial conjunctival (scarless) approach, the procedure leaves no visible marks, allows for a faster recovery, and delivers natural, long-lasting results.
It helps complete a more vibrant, awake, and youthful impression.

DU's
Specialty
What's special about DU's lower eyelid fat repositioning surgery?
Orbital Septum Reinforcement
The Importance of Orbital Septal Reinforcement
At DU, orbital septal reinforcement is performed together with under-eye fat repositioning to strengthen the underlying structure and prevent the fat from bulging forward again.
By reinforcing the septum, the risk of recurrence is greatly reduced, allowing the results to remain stable and long-lasting.
This technique also improves skin laxity, fine wrinkles, dark circles, and under-eye hollowness, helping the lower-eye area regain elasticity, smoothness, and vitality.
The importance of sub-eyelid fat redistribution
Key Under-Eye Points for a Complete Look
The balance between under-eye fat and aegyo-sal is essential.
Under-eye bags create sagging and fine lines, leading to a tired and aged appearance.
At DU Plastic Surgery, our design approach repositions under-eye fat while preserving the natural aegyo-sal, maintaining the youthful volume that gives the eyes charm and vitality.
The result is a brighter, livelier, and more youthful under-eye contour.
