Postoperative Care
- Use ice packs for three days after surgery to minimize swelling and bruising.
- Do not press or massage the treatment area with your hands.
- Be sure to wear the designated compression bandage as instructed by the medical staff.
- Refraining from smoking and drinking for at least 4 weeks will help speed up recovery.
- Please avoid excessive exercise or sauna for about a month.
- Drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest for a stable fat grafting experience.
- There may be swelling for about 2 to 3 weeks, and the tissue may harden for about a month.
- The facial line will be reconstructed and improved over approximately 3 to 6 months.
